This Cookie Policy explains how Ruwa Advisory for Human Resources Consultancy - L.L.C (“Ruwa Advisory”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, keep your cart and checkout secure, and can measure how the site is used.

How consent works on this site

Non-essential cookies are used only with your permission. On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies, allow necessary cookies only, or manage each category. Nothing optional loads before you choose. Your choice is stored for 6 months in a cookie named ruwa_consent, and you can change or withdraw it at any time via Cookie preferences or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

The categories we use

  • Strictly necessary: required for core functions and always on. These include your sign-in session (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*), your cart session (wp_woocommerce_session_*, kept up to 2 days for guests and 7 days for members), cart contents indicators (woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart), payment security and fraud prevention during checkout (set by our payment provider), and ruwa_consent itself, which remembers your cookie choice.
  • Marketing and analytics: help us understand what brings people to Ruwa. WooCommerce order attribution stores first-party sbjs_* cookies (up to 6 months) recording how you found us when you place an order. If we enable email updates via Klaviyo or Google advertising measurement, their cookies (such as __kla_id) also belong to this category and follow the same consent.

Third-party services

  • Payments: checkout is processed by WooPayments (powered by Stripe) and, where offered, Tabby instalments. Their cookies exist for secure payment and fraud prevention and are strictly necessary when you check out.
  • Calendly: the booking calendar is embedded from calendly.com and loads automatically wherever booking is offered; Calendly may set its own cookies. Booking is also always available on calendly.com directly.
  • Instagram: event recap pages embed videos directly from instagram.com, which loads automatically on those pages and may set its own cookies; see Meta’s cookie policy for details.
  • Web fonts: our typography is self-hosted on our own domain, so no font request is sent to Google or any other third party.
  • Security verification: if we enable Google reCAPTCHA on our sign-in and registration forms, Google sets cookies strictly to distinguish people from automated abuse on those forms only.
  • Third-party sign-in: if you choose to sign in with an external account (such as Google) where offered, that provider sets the cookies needed to complete the sign-in you requested. These are strictly necessary for that action and are used only when you start it.

Managing or disabling cookies

The easiest way is the Cookie preferences panel, available from every page footer. Most browsers additionally let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the cart, checkout and sign-in.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal or operational changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised date, and we will ask for your consent again if the changes are material.
